The weekend are always the most challenging times to take photos. Lack of inspiration of simply lack of a suitable subject can short circuit the photographic process. Today was also a rather wet day with a bit of rain falling this morning. I took the opportunity to walk aside for a few minutes and was able to snap this shot. This processed totally in Lightroom using the 300v1 Preset as a starting point. I bumped the saturation and clarity a bit to bring out a bit more color.

LOVOE LOVE LOVE this image. How did you get the background to be so simple? I love the non-traditional angle on the flower. It begs me to look down on the middle of it.

The background is actually just the white wall. This rose bush sites just outside my front door. I held up the flower so that the white wall became the background. The processing did the rest with the vignetting and such. Thanks for the comment!
