In following with my latest blog posts, I have been composing this shot in my head for quite sometime. I pass by this group of birds of paradise as I drive into work every morning but usually the sun just isn't hitting it right. This morning I had the pleasure of capturing this image and believe me when I say that this one is exactly what I had been composing in my mind. It's that one shot that you get every so often that just screams, "YES!" This is the first time where I have done very little post processing, nothing creative beyond a little saturation and contrast bump since I shoot in RAW. Have you as a photographer ever experienced that moment of "that's the shot!"?
