Another foggy day driving into the office this morning. Although many a photographer dislikes having to deal with clouds, when I'm doing artistic photos like this one, having the overcast feel really opens up the imagination. In this case I was walking around outside and noticed this brightly colored leaf sitting among darker brown leaves. The moisture in the air really added to the ambiance and I just had to take the shot. Although it might be difficult to see, if you look really closely at the leaf, just to the left of the spine you can see my reflection in the water...it's those minute details that make photography fun.
So do you as a photographer enjoy shooting when it's overcast and foggy? Leave a comment with your thoughts!
